Winter is definatley here

I have been using my Blackberry 3G phone to take some photographs. The resolution is not great, but the phone is always at hand.

I do love walking in winter, the country side looks spectacular.

Winter Is Coming

Deisal and I spent some time walking on the moors this evening. It was a pleasant evening, the sun was shinning, but there was a bite in the wind. A little reminder that winter is not fare away, and the evenings are drawing in.
I have been meaning to do some photography, and I used to love shooting black and white in the winter. The low level of the sun can produce some striking images. Maybe this is the winter that I once again take up a camera.

Hand like a club

I woke this morning to find my hand now resembles a club.  It seems a horse fly made a meal of me while I was out on my evening walk with deisal yesterday, and my hand has swollen.
Its almost impossible to resist  scratching...... I hope it returns to normal soon, typing is very uncomfortable.

Rainy Day

Well its the 1st of june, 7:30 in the morning, and it is raining.  I am sitting on my bed going through my emails before I take Deisal out for he's morning walk.  The sky is grey and the rain is falling steadily.  Looks like it has been falling all night. I enjoy walking on days like these. There are less people around, sounds seem to be muted, the world is quiet. The absence of sound seems to heighten the other senses, I find I am more aware of the smells that surround me.
Time to pull on the field jacket and gun boots, and go for a walk.

My new web page header.

While out walking Deisal this morning I passed these flowers in some woods on route.  It was a fantastic morning.  The sun was hot, there was no breeze to speak of, and being Saturday it was quite.  It seemed like I had the whole moore to my self, glorious. The woods run along a small stream on Hatherleigh moore.  I took some photographs.

I quite like this one.

I like this one, even though its not a hundred percent sharp (limitations of the camera).
